Woogenellup

Sub Clover
Subterranean/Sub clover (ssp. subterraneum)

WOOGENELLUP Sub Clover is a mid-season subterranean variety that flowers 130 days from sowing.

It is suited to medium to high rainfall zones, where it demonstrates excellent winter and spring production. The variety shows poor persistence under grazing or in areas of low rainfall due to its poor seed burial strength and low hard seeded percentage. This trait does make it suitable for short term cropping rotation areas.

However, WOOGENELLUP is a popular hay variety due to its quick germination, erect growth.

WOOGENELLUP is very susceptible to clover scorch and root rot.
